History:
In view of the fact that Holy Week in Alicante had taken a great boost, increasing the participation of young people and reaching a great interest among the population, the Greater Board of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods decided to organize the Brotherhood of the Risen one on its own, thanks above all to the interest shown for which Mr. José Luis Pamblanco was president, since it was the only brotherhood that was missing in Alicante to close the processional passion cycle.
It was agreed not to create a new brotherhood, but rather that it be promoted and organized by the members of the Junta Mayor in collaboration with all the brotherhoods of Alicante. In fact, the Costaleros of the Hermandad de la Cena would be in charge of setting up and dismantling the Risen Passage and taking it in procession, for the first time, at 12 p.m. on Holy Saturday, 1995.
The first image that was processed was the work of D. Mariano González Romo, until in 2002 it would be replaced by a new image chiseled by the sculptor D. Ramón Cuenca.
